Three Holes-In-One In A Day

In the Olympic Games in Rio 2016, people could see three holes-in-one in a single day, which is amazing. This happened at the Rio Olympic Golf Course.

Velodrome at Rio

At the Rio Olympic Games, a new velodrome was open to the public, at the Barra Olympic Park. Some people consider it "the fastest velodrome in the planet" because 33 world records were beaten there. But this velodrome also featured other events apart from the cycling events of the games, things like a BMX freestyle exhibition.

Volley at Barra Olympic Park

At the Olympic Games in Rio 2016, people started using tennis courts to play beach volley, and after this was seen in the games, this practice is used in many places of the world. This helps a lot because they will not have to play the games at the beach. This idea was a success,  but still, people want to build more volley courts to encourage the practice of this amazing sport.

Hope In the Games

The Refugee Olympic team participated on the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. This is the very fist refugee team to participate in an event like this one, giving some people hope. The team showed determination and hard work, even though they weren't trained for the games. They worked very hard to show a symbol of hope in the games.

The Planning of The Games

The Olympic Games from Rio 2016 were planned far before the actual games started. Brazil was always a big candidate for the games, and it has been prepared for the games even when they weren't officially called as the candidates for the games in 2016. The country started to renovate most of its buildings. even building the Barra Olympic Park, which was used as a training centre in the games. They had 7 years of preparation for the games, that have left a clear legacy to the world.
